Jason Hunter

Jason joined the wealth advisory team at Ocean’s Edge in 2026, bringing more than 30 years of experience in professional service industries, including 12 years as a licensed financial advisor.  His professional journey includes many successful years of service in New York City and the San Francisco Bay Area.  Born and raised in the Sierra Nevada foothills, Jason has deep roots in the communities of El Dorado County, California.  He was a standout student-athlete in high school before earning his Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration from California State University, Fresno.

Clients quickly recognize Jason’s genuine passion for service and his commitment to thoughtful solutions and personalized financial guidance. Grounded in creative problem-solving and a solutions-oriented mindset, Jason strives to ensure every client feels both confident and well cared for throughout their financial journey.

Jason’s pride and joy is his daughter, Jocelyn, who currently attends the University of Utah where she is active in the U.S. Air Force ROTC program.  Outside the office, he enjoys hiking, rafting, skiing, golf, reading and time with friends and family.
